Pricing questions
Are there travel fees?
Yes — the travel fee is calculated by distance from your address and starts at R150. It's added once per visit, not per pet, and shown before you confirm the booking.
What about medication?
Any medication your vet prescribes is charged separately at fair retail prices. You'll get a written quote before anything is dispensed.
How do repeat treatments work?
GoVet staff arrange Repeat Treatment Visits at the configured professional fee, plus the usual travel fee. Contact GoVet to arrange an appointment. Medication is supplied or administered during the visit where clinically appropriate and charged separately. New or worsening symptoms may need a full consultation.
Can I get an invoice for medical aid?
Yes — every visit generates a digital invoice with the vet's practice number, suitable for pet medical aid claims.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment and the amount paid is refundable; closer than that it is non-refundable. GoVet reviews and approves every refund. The full wording is in our Terms.
